Waxed Wonder

Hand-painted cotton background with waxed fabric topped with a sheer green silk, a batik geometric centerpiece “crowned with a waxed cardboard square, all embellished with some hand-stitching and my favorite French knots. Perfect for framing or for adding your own touch to it. (Made in a workshop with the late Els Van Baarle.)
