I am overwhelmed with the response I got for this book giveaway – not only by the number of you who entered (399), but by the lovely things so many of you said in your comments. I feel like I have made a difference in many of your art-lives and that has always been my purpose - to make other women feel as good as I do when I make art, to be a pied piper of sorts leading everyone into "the zone". I set out to share myself and my art with the world, just about 10 years ago to the day, a late-bloomer for sure. My first Fragments were born during an ice storm and now, today, we are in the middle of a beautiful snowstorm….but preparing for an ice storm tonite. I've come far in 10 years. Following your passion really does make for a wonderful life. So thank you. I hope I can continue to inspire you for many years to come.
I understand the blog subscriber isn't working properly and I cannot figure out how to fix it yet, but the good news is that within a month or so, I'll have a whole new website and updated blog. The LaLasLand.com so many of you know will become LesleyRiley.com – up to date, contemporary and a true expression of who I am NOW. I am amazed that my other blog is 10 years old – a dinosaur in webland. A lot of the content will dissappear, so if you want to have one last look at the Fragment galleries, now's the time.
