Today I have discovered there are two ways of being in present time:
1. Confused about what to do, stops and starts, going around in circles, questioning, over-thinking or being too flustered to think straight. (That was my morning)
2. Taking action, one step at a time; moving forward; completing one cycle and then starting another. (That was my afternoon)
One is calm, one is random. While both appear to be happening in present time, my guess is that it’s the being fully PRESENT part that is missing. (This is now.)

Lyric Kinard says
I heard an interview once that talked to a researcher about the ways different cultures experience time. Some like ours “manage” time. Some “experience” time. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. Each taken to the extreme is unhealthy. It looks like you are trying to find the balance.
